History on Tap: Whiting’s Beer Heritage

The Whiting -Robertsdale Historical Society invites beer enthusiasts and history buffs alike to explore the rich beer heritage of Whiting, Indiana at Bulldog Brewing on Tuesday, April 16th.

This field trip will provide a rare opportunity to experience firsthand how beer is crafted today while learning about the pivotal role beer played in the city’s early development, how and where early settlers enjoyed their pints, and the historical significance of beer brewing in the American story.

The presentation will be led by Ron Tabaczynski from the Whiting – Robertsdale Historical Society.  He will be joined by Kevin Clark, the owner and Master Brewer of Bulldog Brewing Company. They will share their knowledge and expertise about the historical and current practices of brewing, providing a unique perspective on Whiting’s beer heritage.

This event begins at 5:00 pm at the Bulldog Brewing Company, located at 1409 119th Street, Whiting, Indiana.

Tickets are just $10.00 per person and can be purchased in advance at Bulldog Brewing Company or at the Whiting Robertsdale Chamber of Commerce, 1417 119th Street.

Doors will be open at 4:30pm, so you’ll have plenty of time to grab a pint and secure your spot. Everyone is welcome, though you must be 21 or over to purchase alcohol.
